The article introduces actual installation examples of thermal energy storage, while referring to its advantageous points. Since cool (or cold) thermal energy storage is effective to the levelling of daytime and nighttime power demand and also to energy cost reductions for building owners, it has been increasingly adopted for building air conditioning.
