Résumé

The paper presents an analytical method to obtain effective thermal conductivity of glass wool insulation. The exact estimation of radiative transmission through fiber insulations is shown to be important for estimations of effective thermal conductivity. A correcting method for the inequality of fiber volume density is presented.
