Résumé

A sliding vane is a key part of an innovative synchronal rotary compressor. A dynamic model was established on the basis of detailed motion analysis on the sliding vane, the cylinder and the bladed rotor. With the dynamic model, strength check and structural optimization of the sliding vane for a prototype were investigated with ANSYS Workbench. The results show that the strength of the sliding vane depends more on the fillet radius than the thickness. For the prototype, the thickness of the sliding vane decreases from 12 to 8 mm, and the fillet radius increases to 4 mm. The analysis results indicate that both structures can meet the design requirement. Moreover, the maximum equivalent (von-Mises) stress and the mass of the optimized vane is smaller than those of the original vane, and the minimum safety factor of the optimized vane is much larger than that of the original vane. These results confirm that the optimized vane is more reliable than the original vane.
