Résumé
By coupling the H2O/LiBr absorption heat transformer and water vapor compression heat pump via thermal, a new hybrid heat pump system is proposed in waste heat recovery and utilization. The new heat pump system takes good advantage of the merits of absorption heat transformer and vapor compression heat pump. It can achieve large temperature lift, ultra-high temperature supply with moderate efficiency and power consumption. To evaluate the performance of the hybrid system, the simulation is performed under a specific condition to recover heat from the 80◦C waste heat, achieve a 100◦C temperature lift, and supply ultra-high temperature heat with 180◦C. The parametric study is conducted to assess the effects of the evaporation temperature in the absorber on the system performance. The simulation results indicate that the hybrid system has a maximum COP under different evaporation temperatures in the absorber. When the evaporation temperature in the absorber is 126◦C, the maximum COP of the hybrid system is 2.815. At this condition, the concentration of the dilute solution and concentrated solution is 64.49% and 66.60%, respectively. And the final heating capacity is 62.18 kW with an 11.25 kW power consumption of the steam compressor.
