Analyse expérimentale et assistée par simulation d’un refroidisseur à absorption fonctionnant en mode chauffage.

Experimental and simulation-aided analysis of an absorption chiller operating in heating mode.

Résumé

Heat pumps enable the use of “freely” available heat at lower temperatures to provide heat at higher temperatures (which can be utilized e. g. for process heat, district heating). Therefore, in times of increased environmental awareness and resource scarcity, the heat pump market is experiencing massive demand and is crucial for achieving climate goals as well as energy independence. Heat pump components usually have a customized design to ensure good performance in the intended operating range. This applies particularly to thermally driven absorption heat pumps which use H2O/LiBr-mixtures as working fluids since the fluid properties (e. g. density) of the refrigerant change significantly at varying temperatures.
In this paper, the operating behaviour (e. g. capacities, efficiencies) of a H2O/LiBr-absorption chiller (nominal evaporator capacity: 15 kW) is analysed in heating mode at varying operating conditions using measurement data from a test bench.
