Résumé
A novel lower pressure absorption refrigeration cycle for solar air conditioning was presented. On the basis of the conventional two-stage absorption refrigeration cycle, the lithium bromide solution from the high pressure generator has been mixed with the solution from the low pressure absorber to increase the lithium bromide solution concentration and to reduce the pressure in the high pressure absorber. The performance of the new cycle for solar air conditioning was analyzed. The results show that the whole COP of the new cycle for air conditioning was mainly influenced by the LiBr solution concentration and by the available temperature difference of the heat source. The highest available temperature difference of the heat source was 33.2°C. The maximum whole COP was 46.4% higher than that of the conventional two-stage absorption refrigeration cycle. Moreover, the area of the solar collector decreased by 47.1% and unit hot water consumption reduced to 21% at the same cooling capacity.
