Résumé

Annex 40 is a research project which develops, validates and documents tools for commissioning buildings and building services. These 8 papers of the 5th annex meeting, held in Kyoto, Japan, are included in the AIVC CD-ROM (see this Bulletin, reference 2004-1501, 7069, 6B/AIV). They provide a clear view of the annex's progress and international developments regarding commissioning. Topics: trends in the establishment of commissioning processes; international trends in research, dissemination and knowledge (commissioning of HVAC systems for improved energy performance; commissioning of existing buildings; model quality control and commissioning; from design through operations; a perspective and development in Hong Kong).
