Résumé

The possibility of improvement of condensation heat transfer in horizontal shell-and-tube condensers thanks to the application of integral-fin tubes is discussed in this paper. The results of heat transfer and pressure drop characteristics of the prototype industrial condenser series are presented. Recommendations for high-performance shell-and-tube condensers in application to marine refrigeration devices, complete refrigeration units, apparatuses for recovery of condensation heat transfer as well as compression heat pumps are presented.
