Résumé
This document is a case study of the design and construction of a 30,000-sq m office tower that achieved an excellent energy-efficiency outcome close to the simulated potential, when modelled with actual weather data. The design features and processes contributing to the result were considered. Some of the lessons learnt throughout the simulation-and-result reconciliation work were articulated in order to promote the interchange of ideas and experiences among simulation practitioners. Differences between the simulated and actual results are also considered, and possible reasons were identified.
