Résumé

The thermal fluxes in the actual standard on building energy requirement and thermal load are assessed using the external air temperature as potential and employing convective-radiative surface heat transfer coefficients. The correct calculation of energy fluxes, between building external surfaces and the environment, must use the external operative temperature as potential and must be based on convective-radiative surface heat transfer coefficients, assessed as function of the considered conditions. The problem is non-linear, since the external operative temperature depends on the convective-radiative surface heat transfer coefficients, which are themselves function of the external and internal operative temperatures, and of the envelope thermal resistance. Furthermore the external operative temperature is a function of: the urban environment surrounding the considered building, the wind speed, the air and sky temperature. Aiming to find a solution to the problem, unrelated to the building structure, a statistical-inductive survey has been carried out. The distribution of thermal conductance values for the most common vertical wall and roof structures in new buildings, has been assessed. For each wall typology the minimum, maximum and average values of thermal conductance have been assessed. The study has been carried out using the climate profiles of seven cities representing the most common Italian conditions as input.
