Caractéristiques du transfert de chaleur d'un terrain équipé de forages multiples pour les systèmes de pompe à chaleur sol-air.
Heat transfer characteristics of a multiple borehole field for ground-source heat pump systems.
Auteurs : ZHANG Q., MURPHY W. E.
Résumé
Among the various heat pumps, ground source heat pump (GSHP) systems with multiple vertical U-tube heat exchangers often have a number of advantages over other types of heat pump systems. A multiple borehole field is used more widely than a single U-tube heat exchanger for larger buildings. However, less information is available on the subject of multiple borehole fields because of their heat transfer complexity. In the study, a finite element numerical model was used to analyze various borehole configurations and field geometric configurations. The effect of temperature difference, borehole size, soil conductivity, and separation distance among boreholes were simulated. Field thermal effectiveness, a non-dimensional factor, was used in evaluating and comparing the performance of each borehole in a multiple borehole field. It was determined that boreholes in a field could be characterized by their exposure to the far field conditions, grouped as corner, edge, or interior boreholes. Thermal interference from adjacent boreholes increases with soil conductivity. Temperature difference has no impact on field thermal effectiveness. The overall thermal effectiveness of the field is strongly affected by separation distance between boreholes.
