Résumé

This article reports on the use of computer simulation to compare various strategies to analyse zone air flows, temperature evolution and cooling needs in an office. The authors determined the optimum size, shape and location of window openings to provide sufficient ventilation rates along with the impact of wind orientation and the degree of wind protection of the building on the ventilation rates.
