Résumé

This paper introduces how energy systems can be optimized and what are the resulting advantages of this optimization. Speed controlled compressors are discussed in more detail. There are many advantages of speed controlled compressors compared with the standard ones. The most important idea of the speed-controlled compressors is the reduction in energy costs. Different possible combinations of systems by which much better performance can be reached. The presentation shows a study of an energy optimized system compared with the standard system. Some interesting already realized projects are also presented.
