Résumé

By the development of ammonia-water chillers with suction gas cooled semihermetic reciprocating piston compressors and dry evaporation, ammonia could effectively compete in the comfort and industrial air conditioning context. For the necessary built-in-electrical motors together with the electric motor industry a basic concept was developed using experimental motors.
