Conception d'une pompe à chaleur humide à compression-résorption avec le mélange ammoniac-eau.

Design of a wet compression-resorption heat pump with the mixture ammonia-water.

Résumé

A 30-kilowatt laboratory wet compression-resorption heat pump using the mixture ammonia-water has been designed. The compression-resorption cycle has proved to be very promising in applications with a large resorber temperature glide, when the ratio of the temperature glide and of the temperature lift is not too high. The use of wet compression instead of solution recirculation can improve the COP by more than 10%. A liquid ring compressor was used in order to carry out the first measurements. Because it introduces large irreversibilities, the desired temperatures could not be achieved, and the COP has remained very low. In the near future, a screw compressor will be tested, which is expected to lead to a COP higher by about 4 times.
