Résumé

This article reports on an investigation into modelling the internal environment in hospital air-conditioning applications, using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to improve air quality and occupant health. It demonstrates that CFD analysis techniques allow study of the airflow and temperature distribution and the optimization of air delivery to achieve higher sterility in risk-affected areas. Finally, the article provides results concerning a proposed operating room.
