Conception de pompes à chaleur à absorption/compression à haute température.

Design of high temperature absorption/compression heat pump.

Résumé

Absorption/compression heat pumps are well suited for upgrading waste heat in industrial processes. The ability to deliver heat at high temperatures together with the possible high temperature lift makes it applicable where conventional vapour-compression heat pumps have limitations. Waste heat holding typically a temperature of 30-50 deg C is supplied in large quantities in e.g. Norwegian petroleum industries. The upgraded heat can either be utilized internally in the industrial process and thereby reduce the primer energy consumption, or it can be utilized for other high temperature purposes such as drying or evaporation processes located close to the waste heat source. A 60 kilowatt laboratory scale absorption/compression heat pump using ammonia-water as the working fluid pair has been designed to evaluate the performance and long term operation consequences. Computer simulations of the process shows optimal retrofit of waste heat at temperature upgrade from 53 to 117 deg C, with a COP of 3.8.
