Type d'article : Article
Résumé
Discusses one aspect of deregulation of the electricity industry in the USA. Utilities have already issued on-peak electric prices as high as USD 3.50/kilowatthour. States that selecting proper chillers now requires more than simply determining lower operating costs, simple payback or even lowest life-cycle cost. Outlines the benefits from combining electric and alternative-drive chillers (hybrid system) to effectively and efficiently combat high electric prices.
