The paper explores the synergies between components in the mechanical system. Strategies that exploit these synergies offer a quantum leap in energy efficiency, environmental stewardship, economic benefits, and sustainable global health. In comparison, focusing on components offers only incremental, marginal improvements unless new technologies are introduced.
