The paper summarizes the ASHRAE design guide developed for combustion turbine inlet air cooling systems. The guide allows the designer to recognize the benefits and limitations and to assist in the successful design and implementation of combustion turbine inlet air cooling systems. The guide is not intended to be a substitute for competent engineering design professionals.
