Résumé

A new kind of heat pump water heater with PCM (Phase Change Materials) for thermal storage is introduced. The structure and principle are described. The feasibility and advantage of the water heater application have been demonstrated by some primary results. The economic advantage of this kind of heat pump water heater is stated by comparison with other kinds of water heaters.
