Résumé

Evaporative adiabatic cooling, using water as refrigerant, is one of the oldest existing kinds of air conditioning. Indirect operating dew-point cooling also based on the evaporating of water, relates to new developments, which are now entering the market. These systems are characterized by discharging the evaporated moisture towards the open air and extreme low energy consumption. It makes cooling possible where this would hardly be feasible because of energy reasons. These systems are an alternative to the use of F-gases and an answer to European CO2 policy.
