Conductivité thermique réelle de l'eau en dessous de 273,16 K.

Effective thermal conductivity of water below 273.16 K.

Auteurs : TSVETKOV O., LAPTEV Y.

Résumé

Correlations to predict the thermal conductivity of liquid solutions used as secondary refrigerants were analyzed. The Filippov-Novoselova model was chosen because of its empirical foundation, simplicity and more than forty years verified convenience. Effective thermal conductivity of water below the ice-point was derived after the analyses of different sets of experimental and recommended data for alcohol and glycol aqueous solutions. The results were fitted by empirical equation recommended for calculation of the thermal conductivity of water over a wide range of temperatures including the region below triple point. The comparison between calculated and available data is made in the temperature range 120°C (393 K) to -40°C (233 K).
