Résumé

The objective of this study is to develop a correlation applicable to prediction of axially local heat transfer coefficient in flow boiling inside small diameter tubes. In the previous studies, it was found that, for accurate prediction of the heat transfer in small diameter tubes, it was necessary to evaluate precisely the contribution of evaporation heat transfer through thin liquid film around vapour plug in slug flow, adding to forced convection heat transfer and nucleate boiling heat transfer. There are, however, only heat transfer correlations considering any two of these three contributions; forced convection and nucleate boiling in most cases. In this study, a correlation considering all of three contributions was developed based on a large amount of data of seven kinds of halocarbon refrigerants, CO2 and water. The new correlation showed higher prediction performance compared with conventional heat transfer correlations.
