Résumé

Compression-resorption heat pumps are compression systems that work with a non-azeotropic mixture. The first part of this thesis, presented for the degree of Doctor, deals with the thermodynamic analysis of compression-resorption cycles and with wet compression, the second part is devoted to the design of a wet compression-resorption heat pump test plant and to an analysis of the measurements. Extract of contents: wet compression against dry compression; considerations when modelling compression-resorption cycles; model for the design of the cycle and simulations for the pair ammonia-water; comparison between the efficiency of several cycles and refrigerant mixtures; design of a laboratory wet compression-resorption heat pump; measurements on the heat pump implemented with a liquid-ring compressor; recommendations for further research. The appendixes: COP optimization curves for the case study; choice of an equation of state; temperature-enthalpy and temperature-entropy diagrams for several mixtures; complete results of the case study; lay-out of the test plant; results of the measurements.
