Résumé

The basic principles of chemical dehumidification are summarized, analysing the energy features regarding the processes of dehumidification and regeneration of desiccants. Some possible applications are described, stressing the obtainable benefits in terms of energy savings in comparison with the traditional dehumidification by cooling. The report illustrates some commercially available equipment.
