Résumé

The conference is organised by the University of Ljubljana in collaboration with the International Institute of Refrigeration, the Slovenian Energy Association, and the Chinese Association of Refrigeration. It cover a wide range of solid-state disciplines and aims to promote technology transfer across these fields. The conference will focus on materials and their device applications, including cryogenics, refrigeration, heat pumping, energy harvesting, thermal management, thermal storage, and sensorics.
With 30 papers, the main topics of the conference will be divided into different sessions, as follows: Magnetocalorics or thermomagnetics, Electrocalorics and pyroelectrics, Mechanocalorics and thermomechanics, Multicalorics and multi-pyro, Thermoelectrics and magneto-thermoelectrics, Solid-state thermal storage, Solid-state laser cooling, Spincaloritronics, Thermal control devices and Other solid-state materials and related technologies.
