Résumé

As part of the Standard Spacecraft Cryocooler initiative, Creare developed an engineering model of a novel diaphragm flexure Stirling cryocooler designed to provide 2 watts of cooling capacity at 65 K. Design, fabrication, and initial performance tests have been completed. The unit displayed stable performance at 65 K over an 1,150 hour continuous burn-it test at Creare.
