Résumé

The new Stirling cryocooler developed by ILK Dresden and produced by AWT has advantages of the same refrigeration capacity compared to customary cryocoolers but possesses essentially lower power input, lower weight and higher efficiency COP. The single stage cryocooler is able to achieve a refrigerating capacity of 15 W at 80 K and with an input power of about 500 W.
