Résumé

Recent developments involving various types of distillation equipment used for air separation are reviewed. Topics covered include: new structured packings, a new type of liquid collector and a novel annular column arrangement. Finally, some recent studies dealing with liquid maldistribution in packed air separation columns are reported.
