Résumé

A case study was performed on a refrigeration system serving an indoor skating arena. The article describes methods implemented to detect and resolve two operational problems: plugged suction line filter and low refrigerant charge. In addition, the performance of the system was found to be significantly improved by implementing simple control strategy changes.
