Résumé
In ammonia refrigeration plants it is now possible to use soldered flat plate heat exchangers. By a specially developed coating procedure the primary side of the plate is covered by a thin tin layer, which protects the copper soldering against the aggressive ammonia. Laboratory tests and field tests show very promising results.
