Various aspects of heat exchangers: (i) Impact of the use of alternative refrigerants on the design of heat exchangers: effect of the lubricants used with these refrigerants; possibility of saving energy with some alternative refrigerants (R134a, R410A). (ii) How to prevent leaks due to ice formation inside the joints of copper tubes. (iii) Problems due to the use of R407C in air heat exchangers. (iv) Certification of refrigeration exchangers. The second Directory of Certified Products (Eurovent). (v) European recommendations regarding equipment under pressure (PED). (vi) Review of various types of heat exchangers and their market: finned tubes, tube bundles, plate exchangers, air evaporators, air-cooled condensers, ice accumulators, cooling towers.
