Résumé

The main objective of the paper is to investigate the enhancement for ammonia/water bubble absorption process using the carbon nanotubes(CNTs) - ammonia binary nanofluid as the working medium. The effect of absorption conditions on the enhancement of the binary nanofluid is studied experimentally. The absorption conditions include the nozzle’s diameter, refrigeration temperature, initial ammonia concentration of the aqueous ammonia, and temperature of the aqueous ammonia. The results show that the strengthening effect of the binary nanofluid is hardly influenced by the nozzle’s diameter, but increases with decreasing the refrigeration temperature. And it increases with increasing the initial ammonia concentration and temperature of the aqueous ammonia. The effects of the refrigeration temperature, the initial ammonia concentration and temperature of the aqueous ammonia all proved that the enhancement of the binary nanofluid is more significant in the case of the lower absorption potential. This paper presents a better understanding of the mechanism of the binary nanofluid enhancing bubble absorption in thermally-driven absorption refrigeration systems.
