Effet des systèmes de distribution d'air froid basés sur divers dispositifs de soufflage d'air sur l'environnement thermique intérieur : étude expérimentale.

Experimental study of indoor thermal environment for cold air distribution systems using various air outlets.

Résumé

This paper deals with systems that supply low-temperature air directly into the room, low-temperature supply air may cause surface vapour condensation on outlets and cold drafts, which make room conditions uncomfortable. Against this background, the authors set up a cold air distribution system and experimented with direct supply systems under various conditions. In the paper, they describe the solution of surface vapour condensation and cold drafts and the development of an outlet designed to prevent such occurrences. They also report on a comprehensive evaluation of comfort performed through experiments with human subjects.
