Résumé
The aim of the project was to find a heat pump solution with a natural working fluid, capable of upgrading waste heat from industrial processes to at least 100 °C. A heat exchanger configuration for an absorption/compression heat pump has been built and is tested in a laboratory plant at the Institute for Energy Technology in Norway. The heat pump is designed for waste heat upgrading, mainly for industrial applications. A computer simulation of the system shows promising performance, also in the high temperature lift area.
