Résumé

Since december 1992, the authors have tried to establish a cryopreserved tissue banking system in the Kinki area of Japan. After antibiotic incubation for 24 hours, the tissues are frozen at the controlled freezing rate of -1 deg C per minute until -40 deg C. To date, there were 25 cardiac valve donors (50 valves), 15 vessel donors (52 pieces of vessels), and 40 skin donors (559 pieces of skins) at 15 hospitals in the Kinki area. 17 aortic valves and 4 femoral arteries were used. On 25 massive burnt patients, 459 pieces of skin allografts were used.
