Résumé

The principle, characters and current market status of the heat pump water heater are introduced in the paper. The development potential of heat pump water heater in the future is discussed with market survey results. Furthermore, the performance of a split type small heat pump water heater was tested under different working conditions. At last, some improving measures are brought out for the application of the heat pump water heater based on the theoretical analysis and the test results.
