Résumé

The author presents a target function so as to optimize the heat exchanger from a cost point of view. The cost of heat exchanger is based on the surface area or its weight. The study estimates the cost with respect to the heat surface area with many parameters, number of tubes, diameters, and the parameters related to the economical matters.
