The geothermal type systems are becoming commonly used solution for heating / cooling for their environmentally friendly attributes. The systems have the advantage of being balanced since the heat pumps are reversible; in the winter it takes and in the summer time it puts the heat back into the Earth. In order to cover the heating and cooling needs, the geoheatexchanger has vertical parallel boreholes with 72 m deep single U-tube. The system was monitored each day for more than 2 years.
