Résumé

Describes a study carried out on the site of a gymnasium in France, equipped with a ventilated roof and an air-earth heat exchanger. Experimental and theoretical studies were carried out on these two energy-saving systems and a sensitivity factor analysis was performed. Presents conclusions concerning optimisation of air introduction and the economics of fresh air preheating. Concludes the study highlights the value of simulation for new building designs and for existing buildings.
