Résumé

Air dehumidification is commonly employed in both daily life and industrial applications. The desiccant wheel system is widely recognized for its continuous dehumidification capabilities, excellent performance and versatility. However, the hygroscopic material in these systems typically requires high regeneration temperatures, increasing the energy consumption for electrical heating. In this study, we prepared MIL-100(Fe) and LiCl@MIL-100(Fe), which can be regenerated at a relatively lower temperature 50 °C. The synthesis process of above-mentioned adsorbent is facile, and a scale-up (400 g) production was achieved in this study. Based on these adsorbents, a desiccant wheel and associated system were built, in which low-grade heat sources were incorporated to regenerate used MIL-100(Fe) and LiCl@MIL-100(Fe). The results demonstrate that under the same conditions, the peak dehumidification energy efficiency of the MIL-100(Fe) and LiCl@MIL-100(Fe) systems are 1.98 Kgv·(kW h)-1 and 2.24 kgv·(kW h)-1, respectively. These efficiencies are 2.9 and 2.7 times higher than those of the electric heating system, showing significant improvements in dehumidification performance at lower regeneration temperature, with reduced energy consumption.
