Résumé

Solar air collector with energy storage can continuously heat air all day. The inner structure dimensions and thermal storage material of collector play an important role and energy transfer in the open solar collector is relatively complex. The air collector with thermal storage in open solar system was proposed in the authors' previous work. A model for its energy transfer was introduced in order to analyze the processes of heat transfer in the open collector. Influent regularity of energy transfer among several factors is concluded accordingly. Taking three kinds of typical materials of pebbles, sand and water as the thermal storage material respectively, experimental study on collector's performance with thermal storage material would be done. The air temperature difference between the inlet and outlet of collector and its efficiency with water as thermal storage material is highest among three systems. Heat storage with water works more efficiently 20.4% than with pebble alone and 30% that of sand alone at 14.8°C when 674 W/m2 solar radiation intensity.
