Résumé

The two-phase ejectors may be applied in refrigeration and heat pump systems to reduce the throttling losses in the compression systems. However, this requires a special design of the ejector. The possible partial evaporation of a motive liquid jet emanating from a motive nozzle is the very specific feature of the ejector operating with refrigerants. The appropriate operation of the ejector requires a special design which is the reason for the dedicated experimental investigations. The paper deals with the investigation of the critical flow in motive two-phase nozzle. A special testing stand for investigation has been described in the paper. The results of systematic investigation carried out with two-phase motive nozzles are presented. The results were compared with the classical Henry-Fauske model for critical flux and quite good agreement was observed for analysed nozzle.
