Résumé

This paper carries out an experimental study of a novel air-cooled refrigeration system using ammonia-lithium nitrate solution as working fluid. A novel non-adiabatic absorber has been implemented in the absorption cycle to improve system performance. An ammonia-lithium nitrate absorption refrigeration cycle experimental plant has been carefully designed and constructed. Experiments are carefully carried out and a series of working parameters of the absorption refrigeration system including pressures, temperatures, ammonia mass flow rate, etc. are measured. The experimental results are displayed in the present paper which include the condenser temperature, generator temperature, absorber temperature, evaporator temperature, and cooling capacity and so on. Influence of different working conditions of system components on the system performance has been discussed in the present paper. Experimental results indicate that application of non-adiabatic absorbers in air-cooled type ammonia-lithium nitrate absorption refrigeration systems is helpful for system performance improvement and makes it possible for practical application of this system.
