Résumé

The Stirling prototype using helium as working fluid is a kinematic drive, and beta type Stirling cycle machine of 100 W refrigerating capacity. The performance was evaluated as a function of cooling head temperature, mean pressure, frequency, and cooling capacity. The prototype has achieved the targeted refrigerating capacity of 100 W, and the COP of 1.02 under the design operational conditions, with 16.7 Hz frequency and 0.7 MPa helium pressure. The performance data were compared with the predicted ones.
