The paper presents 7 case studies concerning: 1) heat upgrading of flue gas of a waste incinerator, through an absorption machine; 2) combination of absorption heat pump, CHP plant, solar energy and seasonal storage for heating greenhouses; 3) use of absorption systems in greenhouses; 4) absorption cooling and CHP in a printing company; 5) heat pump for domestic and agricultural use, based on the reverse rectification principle; 6) use of solid sorption for industrial processes; 7) lithium chlorate as an absorbent for heat pumps.
