Résumé

Air-conditioning systems in use are most often built around a vapor compression systems (split and multi-split system) or indirect vaporization (the chilled water used in local or district cooling for treatment air). The disadvantages of the systems is the higher demand of energy in during the summertime and loading of the buildings front with the outdoor units. Therefore, it is important to find the different alternative methods to resolve this problems (in finally to have a lower value of the demand energy and pleasant architectural appearance). Absorption refrigeration system (ARS) resolves this necessity using the thermal energy (hot water) can be waste product for electrical energy in thermo-electric power station. This source can becomes a possibility in ARS but the value of the temperature for these chillers available on the market are usually design for driving temperature of 85-90°C or more. At the Departments of Thermodynamics, Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest, research groups have been actively working on absorption systems. The aim of the research is to determine the minimal temperature of the heat source when the machine will work efficiency so that the chilled water temperature to have optimum value to use in air-conditioning system.
