Evaluation thermodynamique en temps limité des cycles irréversibles de pompes à chaleur Ericsson et Stirling.

Finite time thermodynamic evaluation of irreversible Ericsson and Stirling heat pump cycles.

Résumé

The external irreversibilities in the two isothermal processes are due to finite temperature difference and the internal irreversibilities are due to the regenerative loss and the direct heat leak loss from the heat sink to the heat source and are responsible for the lower heating coefficient of performance. Thermodynamic modelling shows the influences of the following parameters: time of regenerative process (affecting the power input), regeneration heat losses, direct heat leak losses affecting the COP. For perfect regeneration and without heat leaks, Stirling and Ericsson heat pumps could have the performance characteristics of an endoreversible Carnot heat pump, for the same operating conditions.
