Evaluation thermodynamique et exergétique de pompes à chaleur à hydrure métallique.

Thermodynamic and exergetic evaluation of metal hydride heat pumps.

Résumé

For thermally driven sorption systems, the most commonly used criterion is the coefficient of performance for cooling (COP) or the coefficient of amplification for heat generation (COA), respectively, which can be determined by calculating or measuring the exchanged heat flows in the heat exchangers of the sorption systems. However, these coefficients do not take into account the temperatures of the exchanged heat. Another possibility is the use of the exergetic efficiency, which takes into account the temperatures by using Carnot factors for the exchanged heat. A different approach to evaluate the performance of sorption machines is the comparison of the real system with an ideal, reversible system, thus defining the quality of the machine.
